For people who train by listening to their body

Knows when to push. And when not to.

Strato reads what your watch already measures and, every morning, turns it into five honest scores — Readiness, Sleep, Exertion, Energy and Strain — against your own baseline. With strength logging, nutrition and a coach that never makes things up.

For iPhone and Apple Watch. Everything is calculated on your device.

Strato's Today screen: Readiness 68, Energy, Sleep and Exertion, and the Coach briefing

What it measures

Five scores, one calm reading

Every morning, Strato compares your metrics against your own baseline — nobody else’s — and tells you what they mean today. All of it labeled approximate, because it is.

Every morning

68

Ready to push

Readiness

0 to 100 against your personal band of HRV, sleep and recent load. With the why, and how reliable the data is, always in view.

Sage

77

Energy

A 0–100 tank that fills with rest and drains with effort, right now. To decide whether today is a day to push or to hold back.

Lavender

7:03

Sleep

Duration by stage against your estimated need. If your watch recorded nothing, Strato says so clearly instead of filling it in.

Sand

20 · today’s TRIMP

Exertion and Strain

The exertion of each session (TRIMP, from your heart rate) and the strain accumulated over the day: sleep, exercise and rest.

And the rest of your physiology

  • Fitness age
  • VO₂max
  • Resting HR
  • HRV
  • SpO₂
  • Respiration
  • Temperature

A gap is a gap — never a made-up zero.

The app

What it looks like

Real Strato screens on iPhone and Apple Watch.

More than numbers

Everything it does, without the noise

Scores, strength logging, the watch app, the journal, nutrition, cycle tracking, widgets, and writing to Health and Strava are free and always will be. Strato Pro adds the Coach, meal photos, fitness age and long-term history, with a 3-day free trial.

Your workouts

Every session, explained

Strength with routines and personal records, cardio with a GPS route, and a history with honest detail: time in zones, heart-rate curve and a comparison against your 30-day average.

Zones that make sense

From rest to max, with your own heart-rate ranges. The top zone is deliberate intensity, not a red alarm.

  • RestZ0–1recover
  • EasyZ2aerobic base
  • AerobicZ3sustainable pace
  • ThresholdZ4hard effort
  • MaxZ5full intensity

The detail that matters

Time
48:12vs 42:30 average
Load
86vs 71 average
Avg HR
146vs 151 average
Energy
520 kcalvs 470 average

Every workout is compared against your 30-day average, so a big day reads as what it is: a big day, not a system failure.

Privacy

What happens on your wrist stays on your iPhone

Strato is built on a simple rule: your health data is not our business.

  • Your readings, in memory

Raw Health readings are processed in memory. What gets saved — scores and whatever you log — lives only on your iPhone.

  • No accounts, no cloud

No sign-up, no profile on a server, no copy of your data outside your device.

  • Analytics never touch health

No health data ever feeds product metrics or third parties. Period.

  • You read it, you delete it

Strato only reads from Apple Health with your permission, which you can revoke anytime from Settings.

Strato reads data from your watch. It is not a medical device and does not replace advice from healthcare professionals.

Frequently asked questions

What’s free, and what is Strato Pro?

Free, forever: the daily scores, strength logging, the watch app, the journal, nutrition, cycle tracking, widgets, and writing to Health and Strava. Strato Pro adds the Coach, meal photos, fitness age, long-term history and more, with a 3-day free trial. It’s managed from You ▸ Strato Pro and billed by Apple.

Does it work on Apple Watch?

Yes. Strato has its own watch app — start a session, heart rate, a scores panel and outdoor cardio — plus widgets and a Live Activity on iPhone.

What do I need to use Strato?

An iPhone and a watch or band that writes its data to Apple Health: Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar, Suunto, COROS… If your metrics are in Health, Strato can read them.

What happens if I don’t wear my watch one night?

You’ll see an honest gap with an explanation (“this night’s data is missing”), and the readiness score will tell you what it was calculated from. Strato never fills gaps with made-up estimates.

Where is my health data stored?

On your iPhone, inside Apple Health, just like now. Strato reads it with your permission, processes it in memory and never sends it to any server.

How is it different from the Health app or my watch’s app?

Strato brings together what you already measure into one daily reading compared against your own baseline: readiness, HRV, sleep and load on a single screen, explained in plain language.

Will there be an Android version?

Later on, via Health Connect. The first version is for iPhone.

When does it launch?

It’s in Apple review. Very soon you’ll be able to download it from the App Store, right from this page.
